Who I work with

If any of this hits home,
you're in the right place.

You've read the articles. Listened to the podcasts. You still don't know what to do with your money. That's because generic advice wasn't written for your life.

You're drowning in research

You have the information. You still can't pull the trigger. You need someone to cut through the noise and think through the next step with you.

You're considering a leap

Burned out and wondering if you can afford a career change, sabbatical, or downshift — and what that would actually look like.

Your life doesn't fit the template

You're building chosen family and wondering how to structure finances when traditional advice doesn't fit.

Your brain works differently

And you've felt judged in the past for this. You want someone to test out money systems that work with your brain, not against it.

You have a pension

And no idea how it fits into the rest of your retirement plan, including if you could retire earlier or make a career change.

You want to stop winging it

You're contributing to retirement accounts but wonder if you're actually on track, or leaving money on the table. You want someone to translate the numbers and how they fit your life.

What I can help with

Turn uncertainty
into action.

Retirement

"Will I have enough to retire comfortably and do the things that bring me joy?"

We'll model your complete retirement picture — pension, savings, and dreams — so you know exactly what's possible.

Money Mindset

"I can't spend without feeling guilty — how do I have a better relationship with money?"

We'll explore where those feelings come from and build spending guidelines that actually feel good.

Life & Career Transitions

"I'm burned out and thinking of a sabbatical — how can I do this responsibly?"

We'll run the numbers so you can take that break with confidence, not anxiety.

Living Your Values

"What does it look like to align my spending and investing with my values?"

We'll explore how values show up in your complete financial life — from daily spending to banking and investment choices.

Investments & Savings

"Am I missing any opportunities to save on taxes?"

We'll optimize your complete tax strategy, from retirement contributions to investment accounts.

Family Responsibilities

"What's sustainable when multiple people in my life need financial support?"

We'll create boundaries and systems that let you help others without jeopardizing your own security.

Real people.
Real plans.

Burned Out, Not Washed Up

After nearly 20 years in state service, he felt like he was on autopilot and missing the chance to be fully present with their newly adopted son. His husband supported him stepping away, and worried becoming a single-income household would derail their future goals. We mapped out a plan for a sabbatical that gave him the time he craved, without compromising their family's future.

Three Partners, One Future Home

A polycule of three — one with a steady paycheck, one self-employed, and one finishing grad school — wanted to buy a home together. We talked through how they'd share responsibilities and ownership, got them mortgage-ready, and discussed options to make sure the financial side felt just as intentional as their relationship.

From Good Savers to Early Retirement

A classic Bay Area couple — engineer meets teacher — had been financially responsible their whole lives. After years of being DIYers, a cancer scare prompted them to ask: "Could we retire before Medicare kicks in?" We optimized their investment portfolio and did the long-term tax planning TurboTax can't. Now they have a clear roadmap to retire at 60 with confidence.

Rebuilding After Divorce

After a late-life divorce, a nurse feared she'd never be able to afford to retire. We walked through her pension, Social Security, and the lifestyle she pictured for herself. She left our last meeting knowing her retirement wasn't lost — in fact, it was only a few years away.

New Teacher, New Money Mindset

She didn't see teachers who looked like her growing up, so she became one. We built a financial plan for her new career — budget, benefits, student loan forgiveness, and her pension. She stepped into her classroom with confidence, and her new knowledge became a way to empower her family and community too.
